His banner is 4' long and 3' tall with grommets and rope.  It looks good if it is white fabric with red letters.  You can fit up to 3 lines of text with 20 characters on each line and still be able to read it easily.

We do not set up on a roof top.  He needs to be stacked down into the ground to stand up properly.
